Dr Fred Zoch

Dr .Zoch is originally from Bridge City. When his boyhood dentist retired, Dr. Zoch bought out his practice. Dr. Zoch earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. He is a longtime member of the Sabine District Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Society, Christian Dental Society, Rotary Club International, and Bridge City Chamber. He and his family are members of and attend First Baptist Church of Bridge City. He currently serves as a Sunday School teacher for the college students at First Baptist Church Of Bridge City.

Dr Zoch is married to Marla Zoch and they have three children, Franklin Forrest and Kelly. Dr. Zoch and his wife, Marla have dedicated many hours of service to the community and helping others. Dr. Zoch has served as President of the Chamber of Commerce in Bridge City. During his service on the Board of the Chamber of Commerce, he was the Chairman of the project to restore the historical Bridge City teacherage. Through his and other volunteers' work, the old teacherage became a historical museum as well as the new Chamber of Commerce office for the city.

Dr. Zoch has also spent time doing volunteer dental work in Honduras and supports the Christian Dental Society for work they do in underdeveloped countries. He and his wife have helped the people of Honduras who are without dental care receive treatment.

Dr. Zoch has also served as trustee of the Bridge City School Board. He was elected and served two terms. During part of that time, he served as President of the Bridge City School Board. He was very successful in keeping unity and progress in the school board and the schools.

In 1999, Dr. Zoch and his wife received the Citizen of the Year Award for their outstanding service and contribution to the community. Recently Dr. Zoch received the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow through the Rotary Club. This award is given to honor those who are notable in serving and improving the lives of others through volunteerism and monetary contributions to the needy throughout the world. Currently Dr. Zoch serves on the board and is President Elect of the Bridge City Rotary Club.

Dr. Zoch also enjoys spending time with and teaching his and other children in sports. He has coached his and other children for the past 8 years. He has coached baseball, softball, basketball and football. He has served on the board and is a past President of the Bridge City Youth Football Association.

The staff at Dr. Zoch' s office is very friendly and caring toward patients. Many of the staff members are from the area and are often already friends and acquaintances of many of our patients. The staff enjoy welcoming new patients to the office and giving them excellent care and attention. The staff receives continual professional training and advancement in state of the art dentistry. They enjoy learning new techniques and procedures for dental care by attending seminars and dental conventions each year. Several of the staff members have been with Dr. Zoch for many years.
